Great page. I am just a little bit afraid of travelling alone! I feel like its never going to happen that I travel like this alone, but I really need to travel as Ive got very depressed from not traveling( I have a strong inner voice telling me I need to travel more and experience locals) I also like the idea of living simple and seeing inside of a community!

I find traveling on a tight budget can be more rewarding than with a fat wallet, as it requires more creativity of me,…resulting in a lot more interesting encounters. Cheers!

This is not impressive. 10 dollars a day is a lot. I can get a bike and travel the world if I had 10 dollars a day. Why is this impressive? I don’t get this travel guide. I know that Tomislav got sponsored by Visa and got a camera that he sold along the way for free. Then flew back to Zagreb because he couldn’t make it the full 1000 days of “summer”. I have lived in many places, been homeless and now live less than a slave’s salary, so try that one day.

Nobody says it is better, but with people with urge to travel and no option – I think its better to travel with less money than not to travel at all 🙂
