I should read it to my parents, who are just a few years away from retirement. Unfortunately, I live in a country where most seniors lived their lives during the communist regime and because of the actual corruption and low pensions, they cannot enjoy a true retirement.
However, Romania (because this is the country I live in) is perfect for those who wish to spend quality time in nature, enjoying the silence of the isolated mountain villages and so on. During my tours, I’ve encountered many seniors being astounded by what they found here… friendly people, delicious and healthy, organic food, beautiful nature and surroundings and, probably what’s more important, the quietness everybody is looking for.
The city of Brasov, for instance, is perfect for senior trips. Set your base here and explore the surroundings.
Of course, you can just enjoy the stunning city center with its majestic Black Church or take an easy hike up to Tampa mountain. Whatever you choose to do in Brasov, you’ll never want to leave, trust me. I know some seniors who even bought old houses, renovated them and moved here, in Romania.
Give it a try 🙂

In the Dominican Republic, for instance, Levothyroxine is available over-the-counter; you just ask the pharmacist for it and tell them how many doses you want to purchase. Many medications are much less expensive overseas, too. Depending on which prescriptions you have, and which countries you are visiting, it can sometimes be a better strategy to refill locally during your travels.
